According to the developer’s website, the iPhone/iPod Touch game Galcon has just been updated to version 1.2. While we wouldn’t normally post about an update to an iPhone game, this one is news worthy.
Galcon 1.2 now supports local and online multi-player modes. With the built in server browser you can find a game to join and take your battle online. Multiplayer was a feature of the PC version of the game, and the one most missed. It’s great to see online multiplayer making it’s appearance on Apple’s Mobile platform!

Wow, that’s cool. That’s the one thing I was waiting for before I made a purchase, as the Mac version of the game has Multiplayer. It’s much funner with a crowd of folks that can beat your galaxy-spanning butt.
