What?  Tell me more!

A streaming software from StreamMyGame enables PC games to be played on a PlayStation 3 through the use of an interface application on both the console and PC — Yellow Dog Linux on the PlayStation 3 and a StreamMyGame software on the PC.

According to StreamMyGames CEO Richard Feria,

Both our new StreamMyGame PS3 player and the Bluetooth tool install automatically, just download and double click.

The service works with either XP, Vista, or Linux, in conjunction with a PlayStation 3 on a single network, or from a remote PC or PC server.

It is technologically impressive that the complex happenings of Crysis can be streamed in realtime.  And while playing Crysis on your PlayStation 3 might be covered in a layer of cool, when we peel it away, we can’t help but think, “why not just play it on our PC with a gamepad?”  Perhaps it’s enticement of a bigger screen, or to get console gamers to experience PC games, but if you have to purchase the game for PC and install it first… it’s all right there.
