‘1942: Joint Strike’ Release Date Announced

Posted on Wed, Jul 9, 2008 in Sony PS3, Xbox 360

Capcom detailed the release date(s) of its upcoming revamp of its classic WWII-era shooter, 1942: Joint Strike. The airplane blastin’ redux can be purchased on July 23rd on the Xbox Live Arcade, presumably for 800 MS Points ($10), and on the PlayStation Network the following day at a similar price.

Capcom’s upcoming re-makes/re-imaginings of their classic franchises is a bold step, and we’re glad to see the likes of Bionic Commando, Megaman, and 1942 getting a shot of the New-Juice. When 1942 hits in a couple weeks, you should probably check it out.

Our thumbs hurt just thinking about it.
