Gamestop listing indicates 360 802.11n Adapter to cost $99.99, street date Nov. 3

wirelessn1005The Xbox 360 Wireless N adapter will go on sale Nov. 3 for $99.99, Gamestop’s website indicated today.

Microsoft previously stated that the Wireless N adapter would be “another choice for consumers,” but did not indicate if the current 802.11g model would receive a price drop or if the N Adapter would just be heinously expensive.

The sub-$100 price point for the Wireless N would seem to indicate a price drop for the regular adapter, if indeed both sell concurrently. Nothing has been announced to that affect though.

802.11n is the newest profile for wireless Internet standard, allowing for greater range and faster transfer rates. For gamers, this means less lag, better accuracy and for some, better Netflix quality.

The black color would indicate the unit is geared towards 360 Elite owners.
