Two Worlds Pack Bleeds on to XBLM. Why?

Despite the game’s god-awful, stay-away, horrendously terrible reviews, Two Worlds isn’t backing down. Developer Reality Pump must have seen enough sales to decide that it was worth their effort to release a new downloadable pack – titles Tainted Love Blood- for 600 Microsoft Points, since it’s currently available on Xbox Live Marketplace.

Adding “four action packed multiplayer co-op maps” and a breadth of new quests, the downloadable content sure is offering a lot for a small price – well, it’s no expansion - but we’re curious as to who this is for. Did anyone buy the game? The framerate issues and voice acting debacle were enough to keep a few close friends and I away from one of our favorite genres.

And while we’re pondering on who is interested in this download, why is there a downloadable “pack” instead of “patch”. Critics hammered the game for its technical issues – easily ironed out with a downloadable band-aid, no? – and with a bit of touching up, perhaps Two Worlds would be given a second chance.

Until then, just keep wandering Cyrodiil.
