If you, like me, are eagerly anticipating the release of Atari’s Alone in the Dark; gobbling up all of the content that you can find. Well you are in luck! I’ve received a collection of 40+ new screenshots for your viewing pleasure. This game is shaping up to be something new in the survival horror genre. Not only will there be chills and thrills, but a large action aspect to the gameplay as well. Check out some of the lighting and action in the movie linked below.

Man, it looks like a BioShock/Condemned fusion with MUCH more action. I’m very much looking forward to AitD, it looks like they’re doing some incredible things.

Yeah it looks that way doesn’t it? What’s with the comment that no one is looking for a big time single player experience any more? I think that there will always be a place for games like this.

  3. Ross Arbour Says:

@Dasme: I don’t know about that – that’s traditionally what GTA is known for, and GTAIV sold fairly well ;) .

  4. Lloyd Hannesson Says:

Ross: Firstly I didn’t know that GTA was a survival horror game… must of been playing it wrong ;) Secondly I was referencing the quote from Phil Harrison stating that no one is looking for big single player experiences. being that AitD is an Atari game, it’s a bit ironic.

  5. Ross Arbour Says:

@ Dasme: Hah I didn’t mean GTA is survival horror! ;) My observation was pertinent to GTA being known for a single player experience. I didn’t get the reference, I see now.
