A Best Buy in West Jordan, Utah has a large sign advertising a new price-match policy for new games at Best Buy to the used prices at Gamestop or Game Crazy.
According to “xxDOYLExx,” a poster on cheapassgamer.com, Best Buy will offer new video games for the same price as used equivalents from GameStop and GameCrazy. A Best Buy representative informed Joystiq that this is only a local test and not a nationwide program. xxDOYLExx also posted the picture above.
If the program does go national, it’s unclear if only Gamestop and Game Crazy would be eligible or any local used-game emporium.
