Infinity Ward has released a Call of Duty 4 patch for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.
The update has addressed a couple gameplay mechanics. It extends the kill cam to display an increased scope of kills; such as grenade, C4, and air-strike kills. It also addresses the sniper rifle, and sometimes-tricky ACOG scope, providing an accuracy boost for each.
On the community side of the update is a quick-mute feature for those who mistakingly believe that being in possession of a microphone entitles them to be immensely annoying. Spawn campers beware; the patch also contains 9 new spawn points per map - effectively spoiling the spawn-camper’s kill-streak.
Call of Duty 4 was the global top-selling game of 2007.
