Colin McRae: DiRT 2 Gets Release Date

The release date for upcoming racer Colin McRae: DiRT 2 has been announced, along with some new screenshots for the game.

Set to deliver over 100 events, the sequel to DiRT will include aggressive, multi-vehicle races and intense solo challenges. If the game is anything like the original, then this will be one of the most varied, and dirty racing games of the year. Online multiplayer may make this a worthy successor to the developer’s last game, Race Driver GRID, and if so, then count me in to be first in the drivers seat.

The game is set for a North American release on September 8th, with the UK having to wait a few more days until the 11th for their dose of DiRT. Check out the latest screenshots of the gorgeous game below.
