Square-Enix’s Taito division has announced that Apple Mobile gamers will be able to purchase ‘Space Invaders’ and ‘Cooking Mama’ in the App Store starting now.
Space Invaders plays in portrait mode, just like the old arcade game. It has “full use of the motion sensor and other iPhone 3G and iPod Touch input methods.”
The iPhone and iPod Touch port of DS/Wii “new classic,” ‘Cooking Mama’ includes “both favorite recipes from past console installments as well as a variety of dishes completely new to the series.”
‘Cooking Mama’ will set gamers back $6.99. ‘Space Invaders’ will cost just $4.99.
Portable ‘R-Type’ and ‘1942′ remakes would be well-received as well, as both games have found their way onto XBLA.
