Microsoft kicked off the proceedings at E3 2010 last night with the first official details on their Motion Controller project, previously known as Natal, Kinect.
Along with the name change, and the new design (pictured below), a release date of November was announced, early rumours of a Holiday timescale being accurate.
New games announced at the event include Kinect Sports, exactly how you would imagine Wii Sports to be like on 360; a Kinect version of previously announced avatars racer JoyRide; a Dance game from MTV, and most promisingly a Star Wars themed game from Lucasarts.
It’s true that Kinect looks much slicker since we last saw it, even if then name is just as obscure as Natal was, and with some genuinely interesting titles being announced, this could be the highlight of Holiday 2010.
Expect a host of Microsoft flavoured E3 news later today once their press conference kicks off.
