One of the four Kojima Productions announcments yesterday was that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is actually coming from the development team.
The first screens of the game showcase a new 3D style for the series, with hugely impressive vistas and environments on offer. The classic Castlevania gameplay has been vastly updated for this generation, and while obviously some fans will feel tied to the NES and SNES versions of the game, the visual quality of the game is undeniable.
