After making a surprise appearance at the Microsoft Press Conference, Hideo Kojima had to give Sony the same attention.
He announced that Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker would be coming to PSP in early 2010, set 10 years after Metal Gear Solid 3. The game will star Big Boss, but from the first trailer shown at the conference, is set to feature a multiple number of clones, possibly including Solid Snake himself. The gameplay looked much more similar to MGS3 than Portable Ops, and the game is being specifically marketed as a fully fledged Metal Gear game, with Hideo Kojima involved in his full capacity.
From the first trailer Peace Walker could well be a defining PSP title, a theme that ran for a lot of the show. And this will make a nice accompaniment to the brand new PSP Go, watch the trailer below.
