Apparently, October is the month of the shooter/RPG. A week after the PlayStation 3’s release of BioShock, gamers will be treated to the Bethesda developed Fallout 3.
Set in a grim, post-apocalyptic Washington, DC, Fallout 3 gives players loads of customization with a ton of innovative mechanics in character development and combat options. Honestly, how can you go wrong in picking up a game that includes a rocket launcher that shoots mutant-exploding teddy bears?
We’ve been heavily anticipating the RPG, which has taken a significant new direction from its original strategy roots, but with Bethesda impressing the press each time the game is shown, we’re more and more anxious. Now we’re stoked to see a release date that’s much sooner than expected.
Look for the game when it hits the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in a couple months. Or else!
