Valve have revealed the first downloadable content for Left 4 Dead 2, a new episode called “The Passing”, which has our new survivors running into some familiar faces.
The new campaign takes place after the events of Dead Center, set in “a small town in rural Georgia” where Coach, Nick, Ellis and Rochelle have a chance meeting with Bill, Zoey, Francis and Louis who thankfully are not dead yet.
Along with fulfilling fanboy fantasies, this DLC offers two new weapons, a new melee and a new gun, one uncommon common infected and a new co-operative mode of play. As well as this new unannounced mode, the new campaign will be playable on Survival, Versus and Scavenge modes.
“The Passing” will be released for PC and Xbox 360 and is expected to be released in early Spring. No price has been stated so far.
