LOL to be sold online only

Following in the footsteps of Electroplankton, Agetec plans to release its upcoming Nintendo DS game, LOL, exclusively online. While they’re still in search for an online retailer to seal an exclusive pre-order deal, the company sounds pretty confident in their title – they must if they feel like cutting out the Wal-Marts and EB-Games copies, though you can probably look for trade-in copies within a couple weeks after its May 30 release date.

For the uninformed:

LOL is played by one of the players making a challenge in writing to the others. The crazier the challenge, the more fun everyone will have. The person who delivered the challenge chooses an appropriate time limit, and everyone has to answer the challenge on their touch screen however they see fit – with words, pictures, or whatever comes to mind. The host reveals the answers, and everyone votes on a winner who will then decide on the challenge for the next round. Always different and a blast to play every time, LOL will, as its name implies, make everyone laugh out loud.

The bat-shit crazy comedy game sounds like bat-shit crazy fun, and for 20 bucks, we aren’t ready to kick this one to the curb… Look for the title online in a month. Where? Keep your eyes on the Amazon.
