With three substantial updates under its belt so far, Metal Gear Online has been supported for much longer than many expected.
Konami has just unveiled two additions to the previously released SCENE expansion pack, including a Shadow Moses based map, and the ability to play as Old Snake in the main game modes. These two extras are looking great, with the new map taking place in the Snowfield, host to the excellent Crying Wolf in Metal Gear Solid 4. The new character, while not wholly new, is a great addition, with the Octocamo gameplay being incorporated into all modes for the first time.
Metal Gear Online is starting to look as if it may have legs. There may seem to be a small amount of people playing, but with the amount of extra content, that fan-base must be large enough for Konami to have the resources to deliver once more.
