After receiving plenty of praise on its release a few weeks ago, Mirror’s Edge has become one of the best games of 2008. EA obviously know that people want more of the Free Running first person title, as the company have just announced that downloadable content will be making its way to the game in early 2009.
In such a short game, DLC is welcomed with open arms, and with seven maps in this Time Trial Pack, there’s plenty of new content to get your teeth into.
The levels themselves are unlike the rest of the game, comprised of multicoloured blocks and unusual shapes. This lets you experiment with protagonist Faith’s multitude of impressive acrobatic moves without having to worry about being chased by a set of guards. This is set to make the game feel like it was intended, a great addition through DLC.
The DLC is set to cost 800 Microsoft points, with no other pricing given, but those who own the game on PS3 can look forward to an exclusive extra map for free. Look out for the Mirror’s Edge DLC in late January.
