Hot off the heels of the DSi announcement, it’s an ironic time to release new screenshots for the portable Guitar Hero sequel, Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades. The game, which requires the GBA slot for the guitar peripheral, won’t work on the new system, making these screenshots seem less important now than they otherwise would.
On the other hand, the DSi won’t be released outside of Japan until next year, and until then, there’s a lot of time to get some Guitar Hero time in. The new features this time round include an interesting song-share feature, where DS owners who own either of the games can share their songs with people who own the other. Obviously these songs are only available while the DS systems are connected, but it’s a great idea nonetheless.
Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades is set for release before the end of the year, and so fans of the original have no excuse not to try this one out, or even just share someone else’s songs. Hit the jump for a screenshot gallery.

Yeah, NA won’t see the DSi until after April so don’t feel guilty getting this game.
