Slipknot and Simon and Garfunkel make their debut on Rock Band next week offering what has to be one of the strangest track pairings to date.
While we will never see the day Mr Simon and Mr Garfunkel support Slipknot you can at least recreate what it could be like in your living room, though thankfully you won’t need nine people to ‘play music’.
For the metalheads the Slipknot pack offers “Duality” (a staple of any drunken night for me), “Psychosocial” and “Sulfur” all of which require some degree of headbanging.
Meanwhile out of the pit, among the blossomy meadows is the Simon and Garfunkel pickings of “I Am a Rock” and ”The Sounds of Silence”. As well Lights Resolve’s “Dreaming of Love” is making an appearance but only for Xbox 360 and PS3 owners.
Those are the tracks for next week but just how many people will download the monstrous medley of metal and mellow.
