The title of this post pretty much says it all! Nickelodeon is hosting a Wii Fit Family Challenge contest, where you can pit the Wii Fit skills of your family against others from the United States. The are a couple of ways to enter the contest: you can enter in person at the Nickelodeon display at the Mall of America or via the magic of the internet by visiting the contest website. If you choose to enter on-line, you will have to submit a maximum 2-minute video, telling why you think your family should be selected for the challenge and showing off activities that you currently do as a family (Wii Fit or otherwise).
From all the entries received, three finalist families will be selected to win an all-expense paid trip to the finals in Orlando, Florida to compete in fitness-themed events. The finalists will also receive a Wii console, Wii Sports and Wii Fit. So you can see, you don’t necessarily have to have your own copy of the game in order to enter the contest.
There no word on what the big winner of the finals will receive, other than it will be an ultimate Nintendo and Nickelodeon prize package along with the bragging rights of being the “Fittest Family”.
It’s just too bad that the contest is only open to residents of the United States, it sounds like fun!! Keep in mind that you only have until August 7th to submit your entries to Nickelodeon! Head over to the contest website for further details.
