Oh, poor baby. You thought just because you were going to drop 15 dollars on a 5 year old Xbox game via the Xbox Originals downloads you were entitled to achievements, didn’t you? Well you’re not. Sorry. Major Nelson cleared up the constantly asked issue regarding the emulated (not updated) software downloads today, thank heavens. Sorry kids, you’ll just have to enjoy these games for what they’re worth instead.

People like to whine about things like this. They do the same with the Wii and it’s Virtual Console Games. “Wahh! Why dont they have next gen graphics or online play!” We honestly can’t expect a console manufacturer to go back and add features to old code. Who knows what sorts of bugs will crop up, and with a price of $5-$15, there is no way that they could justify staffing a tea of testers.
If you want to have all of your favorite games of yesteryear sitting on your console when you turn it on use the XBOX Classics/Wii Virtual Console/Playstation store method, otherwise quite your bitching and use ebay

I can’t think of too many titles that I would be willing to pay $15 for. Maybe Marvel vs. Capcom? I’m hoping demand is low and M$ rethinks their pricing strategy to keep the games around $5.
…and what IS a tea of testers? I’m intrigued. please tell me more.
