Okay, it’s totally lame and very promotional, but it’s cute and entertaining in its own right. Insomniac Games, the Ratchet and Resistance creators, recently compiled a fairly cool music video showcasing how totally freakin’ rad the studio is, complete with pinball machines and gigantic chess.
More importantly, the music video – labeled Insomniac Games – Ballz – EXCLUSIVE RESISTANCE 2 EASTER EGGS – hints at Resistance 2 goodies. What did we find? Check out our full (though small) list below, and NeoGaf for more speculation.
- The image above features a set of numbers: 0708. Not very subtle, but it’s elusive! What does this mean? Is it a date? Will we see R2 at E3 around the July 2008 time-frame? Perhaps it’s a straight-up release date, though that’s a touch sooner than expected. Hell, it could be a demo. Who knows? It’s a cool little hint though.
- Below is a similar image, without the subtleties of the last snap. It’s pretty self explanatory
- At the 2:50 mark, and towards the end of the video, we see a number of zombies. Sweet. Re-animated humans? Possibly as a neutral third party villain in the Chimeran/human battle!
