Originally released on 13 January, Return to Ostagar, the third downloadable content offering for Dragon Age: Origins, has made a reappearance on the Xbox marketplace today alongside a title update.
The DLC was originally pulled from the marketplace after a number of glitches formed from it, the major one being class specialisations re-locking after acquiring them. The new title update resolves these issues.
Any specialisations which have re-locked themselves can be unlocked again by loading a previous saved game. Additionally all book-based specialisations automatically unlock once the Warden reaches level 14, though spec books can still be purchased from vendors prior to level 14.
Problems with unlocking achievements are now sorted with Recruiter, Perfectionist and Hopelessly Romantic unlocking if the requirements are met now.
And, of course, there is the Return to Ostagar DLC back allowing players to do as the title suggests and avenge the ’mighty’ King Cailan and Duncan as well as giving players a second chance to rescue the dog. All for 400 MSP.
PC and PS3 updates are under testing and are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
