In what seems like an attempt to bring SingStar to even more people, the SingStore and My SingStar aspects of the karaoke title are on their way to the XMB, allowing access even without a SingStar game spinning in the console.
Avaiable as a free download from the Playstation Store, even those who are yet to play a SingStar game will be able to take a look at videos uiploaded by those who have, a small incentive to get the unconverted on board with the franchise. Being able to buy SingStore songs outside of the main game is neat too, allowing you to plan for a party without having to keep the game running on standby while your purchases download.
The video above showcases the features in the download, lets hope we begin to see a lot more ‘Apps’ like this on the PSN.
