Strange Attractors 2, from indie developer Ominous Development, is now up for grabs on Penny Arcade’s game store Greenhouse. As is the case with all games on the site, you can also snatch a demo for free. One of the “PAX 10″ (a showcase on the best of independent gaming), Strange Attractors 2 is a quirky puzzle/strategy game that uses gravity as its primary mechanic.
It is promising to see deserving indie developers score a bit of the spotlight from someone like Penny Arcade, who holds quite a bit of sway in the gaming community. Remember that the independent game scene is what brought you the brain-busting Braid and the creatively-cartoonish Castle Crashers, so it won’t hurt to take a free peak at the demo.
