Atari

If you were a child of the 80s like me, or just a fan of retro gaming… I meant really RETRO gaming you may want to take look at this GamaSutra article. Titled “The History of Atari: 1971-1977″, author Steve Fulton gives you the low down on the birth of a company that would make “Videogaming”, “Joystick”, “Extra Man”, “Game Tapes”, and “Sure to be a million selling game: E.T” household words.

I’ve read nearly all there is written on the subject and I still found some new tidbits of info, making it well worth the time spent in my books. Steve promises more chapters to follow in the upcoming months, and I for one cannot wait.
