Nobody ever expects licensed properties to ever be tolerable games, but the critics are breaking down that wall with Naruto: Rise of a Ninja. While the game looks absolutely beautiful, the gameplay was something that nobody expected to be satisfying in any way-shape-or-form, but the free form adventure/platforming combined with enjoyable and simple combat proved for some shockingly good reviews. Averaging a 79 MetaScore tempts us to pick this one up, even if it still is goofy ninja nonsense. You anime fans out there with 360’s should probably check this out and open-minded-gamers might as well rent it to see what all the hoop-la is about. You can bet we’ll be hopping in to the bright orange ninja-jumpsuit, so look forward to our review.
