PS3 fans are going bananas over this game, so it’s a good thing that Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction (whew) is finally out this week and is scoring exceptionally well. If you’re on the fence about the action platformer then you should be able to make the decision which way you’re going to go after you check out the meta review scores. Averaging a 90, Ratchet and Clank seems to be impressing a vast portion of the gaming media, scoring a 9.4 on IGN, a 100 in GamePro and 8.5 from 1up. The game looks gorgeous and is supposedly going back to its platforming roots which in itself is enough for any gamer with a PS3 to check this one out.

It’s a slick game, but if you’re still not sold do yourself a favor and explore the free demo on the PlayStation Network.
