The Sims 3 was always going to be an important PC title this year, but EA have to be ecstatic with their first week sales.
Since the game’s release on June 2nd, sales have reached 1.4 million, making The Sims 3 the best selling PC game launch for EA, something attributed to the huge base of players out there. Could this mean The Sims 3 can beat the piracy issues that last year’s Spore suffered from; it might just beat the trend.
Look for The Sims 3 to continue its high sales, and to be one of EA’s most lucrative titles this year.
