Two of PS3’s premier titles will have the all-new trophies patched by the end of the month, which is sure to please Sony fans.
Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune received an update today that replaces the medal system Naughty Dog had used in place of Trophies with the shiny achievements. These are sadly not retroactive, and so people who have played through the game before will have to go back and complete the challenges again. Good news that the game is as good as it is then!
Only announced for the UK at this point, tactical flight based PSN shooter Warhawk will receive a Trophy flavoured update on August 28th. Over 50 trophies will make the cut, and of these, some will even be retroactive, sure to please veterans of the game.
The Warhawk update also features cosmetic upgrades for your aircrafts; and more importantly, Custom Soundtracks and Home integration. What this means for the release of Home is unknown, but it has to be soon, right?
These games are only the start of the trophy support that big titles will be getting, and in the near future we can look forward to Burnout Paradise and various first party games becoming must plays once more.
