News that will frustrate anyone that had the chance to play either of the Yakuza titles released on the PS2, Sega have announced that the third entry in the series won’t be making the journey overseas from Japan.
Despite having been released last year in it’s home territory, the publisher has stated that it will not be profitable to translate the game for English speaking audiences. When the last game sold a mere 40000 in North America it’s obvious why Sega has decided to do this, but even so, the sequel to such a fantastic game would have been a great addition to the Plastation 3′s library.
A dissapointment, but not a surprise. Yakuza 3 will sadly always have to be played in Japanese.
