That’s right folks, the sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops has been announced.
Despite an IP block on the UK’s Call of Duty site to screen out the rest of the world, reports are rolling in about what is on the webpage. For sure there is a YouTube trailer, which is private making it unwatchable for now. You can see some sort of metropolis being attacked, proving the rumors that Black Ops 2 will take place during a 21st Century Cold War.
The following is apparently the only text on the UK website currently:
“Pushing the boundaries of what fans have come to expect from the record-setting entertainment franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 propels players into a near future, 21st Century Cold War, where technology and weapons have converged to create a new generation of warfare. Pre-order today.”
Black Ops 2 has been scheduled for a release on November 13, 2012.
