Street Fighter IV

When news broke of Street Fighter IV, fans needed to know one thing. 2D or 3D. Well Capcom have talked to 1up and said that the game will be 2D with 3D elements. What this means is that the games graphics are fully fledged polygons, while the fighting will be true to the series past. This will please some, but give other people doubts at whether the characters will retain their classic nature. If this is you then looking at the screenshot above should right your thoughts, showcasing just how good Street Fighter can look. Its amazing to see the characters that people grew up with looking so good in 3D. Over the next few weeks a flurry of information ragarding the game is set to be released, and this screensot alone, it looks to be a killer game.

I am wondering about hit detection, since 3D characters on a 2D plane doesn’t exactly pan out… I’ve got faith that Capcom will pull it off.

Capcom wont let this game be godawful. If its decent then it will sell like crazy.

Factor 5 also thought Lair was GREAT!

    I’ve got faith here, though.
